Life As A Fan
I was 10 years old when I started idolizing Ms. Alice Dixson. I like her for being genuine, beautiful, and kindhearted. Some people believe that admiring or supporting celebrities is useless or a waste of time without knowing what changes fangirling can bring to various aspects of life. Being a fangirl was difficult, not because your idol did not recognize or notice you, but because of the criticism from other people and the never-ending questions, "Bakit siya?" ,"Di ba siya yung na balitang kinain ng taong ahas?", "matanda na yan" marami naman jan iba bakit siya?", Those are some questions and criticism I mostly heard. But, what the most interisting I have learned as fan is that, we don't had a power to change their beliefs but we have the power to inspire and bring hope .
After a decade and a year of wishing to meet my idol. The 22nd of November, 2022, was the luckiest and best day of my life. I finally met my Alice Dixson personally, and it was an unforgettable experience. She was so adorable and beautiful, with or without makeup. I was awestruck by her and can't stop smiling. I also spent time with my co-fan that day, laughing and having fun with them. I hope it happens again.
